Jim was physically absent and there was no recognition of George&#8217;s terms of service to the town &#8212; he had already been presented with a plaque at the November meeting.<\/p>\n<p>I want to give a shout out of thanks to George. He publicly acknowledged Pine Plains Views and helped with its coverage of the community. For example, one evening George contacted me from the funeral home to see if I would film a funeral the next day to honor a very deserving local son and veteran.
