Dutchess County Executive Marcus Molinaro came to the Town Hall to meet the citizens of Pine Plains and answer questions about county government. This was the first time I had seen him in his official role and, frankly, I was impressed with his presentation and the answers to some difficult questions.

Revitalization
The community of Pine Plains was invited to a presentation of the results of a study of the revitalization of Pine Plains. Comments were invited afterwards.
I faced any number of technical difficulties in producing this video, but I have squeezed out the best I could do on the budget I had to work with. My apologies. But what do you expect for nothing?

Although I am no longer filming the public meetings on a regular basis, I will film those which I feel will have a particular impact on the community. The application for a Dollar General store in Pine Plains certainly meets that criterion.

Zoning Board of Appeals, Feb. 24, 2015
Dollar General sent a lawyer and an engineer to the Zoning Board of Appeals to test the waters (quite literally, as it turns out) for a store to be built in Pine Plains.
